Highbury receivers: more information for creditors

| 4 Comments | No TrackBacks

If you're owed money by Highbury, the London Freelance Branch of the NUJ has published the following advice:

If you are owed money by Highbury House Communications plc, note that it was put into receivership on 20 January. You need to file a creditor's claim form with the liquidator: write to Margaret Mills at Ernst and Young, 1 More London Place, London SE1 2AF. If you do so you should receive a proportion of what you are owed.

I'm not sure if my previous comment made it through (technology collapsed just as I clicked Post), so I wanted to thank you again for sharing the details you've dug out - a great help for other freelancers in the unpaid queue. My writing partner and I had official letters from Ernst & Young this morning, so I expect all suppliers will receive them soon.

You're welcome. I figure we're all in this together.

Yep, I got the Letter as well.

Any idea if the 'creditor's claim form' is something we have to get from E&Y, or a pro forma thing, or just a statement of outstanding invoices?

(Gah. I submitted my last invoice on January 19th. What great timing...)

Think it's just a (detailed) statement of invoices, when the work was done, purchase order numbers, who commissioned and when and how much.
