10.4.3 is out. Some good things, some bad things

OS X 10.4.3 is out and it fixes a few errors that were annoying me. Dots are back in Entourage; .Mac syncing is improved; FireWire throughput is as fast as Panther's. But the all-important disk corruption error is still there, albeit it at higher throughputs than before: that makes it possible to use iTunes, iPhoto, etc with my external drive (fingers crossed), but still impossible to use Retrospect. Curses.

The server version was supposed to fix an authentication bug in the weblog server, but all it did was make it impossible to log into this blog! I ended up having to delete and recreate the user to regain access. Warning kids: don't use a two-character short name for your blog owners or they won't be able to log in.

Weird extra I've just noticed in the blog server though: the Trackback URL field doesn't appear unless you click on an "Advanced" button, at which point you also get to upload a Podcast. How peculiar.
