Netgear has a mobile phone planned that will use Skype and WiFi networks to make phone calls. Looks promising. As always, the $64,000 question is: will it sync with a Mac?

I want to connect a regular phoneset to a skype wifi phone. My goal is to use an old style phone I have on a regular phone hook-up with Skype service without a lot of cables.
If a Wi-Fi skype phone had a phone hook-up on it...
I thought to have a Wireless Bridge to get the internet signal from Wi-Fi and connect to a Skype router and my old phone to that. It still have a lot of wires around.
Can you help or know anyone who have idea to do it with less cords?
