Instead, organisations should pick only those extras that are relevant, that they can maintain and that enhance their image as well as the browsing experience. Steering clear of bulletin boards, chat rooms and wikis is usually a good starting point.
While content is still clearly king, organisations need to look at the finer details of their sites if they are to convince users to spend their valuable time - and potentially money - with them and not with their competitors.
